One of the most annoying things that you might have to deal with in your home is a dripping faucet, but you might not find the dripping sound as annoying when it is happening in your place of business. There are however several good reasons for you to take the steps necessary to deal with this issue, even if it isn’t keeping you up at night.
Something you might not think about is how much water is wasted. A slow drip might not seem like a lot, but it could add up to thousands of gallons of water wasted each year. If that isn’t enough incentive, the constant water source could lead to issues such as rust, rot, and mold. You might also start noticing discoloration in your sink where minerals from the water are building up from the constant dripping.
The fix might be quite simple, just by replacing an o-ring, washer, or gasket, or you could go all out and replace the entire faucet. Either way, you will be glad to have the dripping issue dealt with.
